Materials Transport Capabilities

• Aggregates & Asphalt – We offer a large variety of stone to fit your needs depending on the application, as well as ready-to-lay asphalt. Contact us with your request, and we will work with you to solve your needs.
• Biosolids and Top Soils – Barakat is permitted to haul biosoilds, and deliver them directly to our customers’ requested location. Biosolids are nutrient rich.
• Construction & Demolition Waste –We can haul and dispose of any volume of construction & demolition waste for the most affordable price in the region. C&D waste, such as concrete, steel, wood, asphalt and gypsum.
• Municipal Solid Waste – Daily household waste can be picked up and disposed of at ease by Barakat.
• Clean Fill – Barakat Associates is Schuylkill County’s primary hauler and disposer of clean fill.

  As mandated by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, clean fill is limited to uncontaminated, non-water-soluble, non-decomposable inert soil, rock and gravel, unused bricks, block and concrete (no painted surfaces), block and concrete containing metal internally (all metals shall be removed from the surfaces of the block and/or concrete so that only rebar or other metals that are imbedded in the concrete remains), and incidental asphalt. Prior to picking up your load, we will test the state of the material so that it meets the proper requirements.

Regulatory Compliance

Barakat is a Department of Transportation (DOT) registered motor carrier and approved for inter-state and intra-state transport. The Barakat fleet of vehicles and business practices are compliant with OSHA, MSHA and DEP regulations. Each Barakat vehicle has a PUC (Public Utility Commission) number, which permits us to haul freight across any route in Pennsylvania.
